Maternity/Paternity/Shared Parental/Adoption Leave for University of Exeter funded studentships
From the academic year 2012/13 all University of Exeter funded studentships will be harmonised in line with the conditions for RCUK funded studentships ('RCUK Training Grant Guide: sections 19-22'). This applies to all students from the 2012/13 academic year, including those who commenced their programme of study prior to the 2012/13 academic year.
Interruptions on the grounds of maternity/shared parental/adoption leave are governed by the procedures set out in the Statement of Procedures: Periods of Registration and Changes to Registration Status for Graduate Research Students - section 4, Interruption of Studies. Please also see the 'Student Pregnancy, Maternity, Paternity and Adoption Policy'.
Colleges must ensure that budgets for funding studentships make appropriate provision for any costs arising in this regard.
