Teaching Quality Assurance and Enhancement
Programme Development Team
The Programme Development Team (PDT) provides project management support for the development of taught portfolios, including new programmes, refreshed programmes and programme closures.
We work closely with:
- Faculty Taught Portfolio Groups (FTPGs) to agree priorities, consider proposals and take forward taught portfolio projects.
- Academic Leads to provide guidance and information from the instigation of a project (for example a new programme idea or proposed refresh), throughout the approval process, until a proposal is either fully realised or rejected.
- External Engagement and Global (EEG) Managers to produce scoping and establish market demand and subsequently, to get approved programmes out to market.
- Quality and Standards Team (QST) to ensure that the correct processes are followed and the required documentation is produced to expected standards.
- A range of other Professional Services Teams (such as Student Records, Admissions, Library, Immigration Services, SEAS) to gather information and ensure that the right professional services support is in place as proposals are developed.
