The Academic Skills and Student Engagement Team is dedicated to helping students to enhance their academic success and get the most out of their educational experience.

ASSET supports students to become confident and capable independent learners through:

• academic skills support provision in Study Zone
• tailored lectures and workshops embedded within disciplines

ASSET also works closely with academics, professional services staff and students to establish successful Peer Support programmes that enable students to deepen their subject knowledge and/or ease their transition to university life.
