What is ASPIRE? If you teach, supervise, and/or support learning at the University of Exeter, the ASPIRE Framework offers you the opportunity to gain reward and recognition.

ASPIRE rewards applicants with both a University of Exeter ASPIRE Fellowship and the correlating Higher Education Academic (HEA) fellowship from one of four Fellowship Descriptors: Associate Fellowship (Descriptor 1), Fellowship (Descriptor 2), Senior Fellowship (Descriptor 3), and Principal Fellowship (Descriptor 4).

Routes to fellowship 

There are three options at the University of Exeter through which to achieve an ASPIRE/HEA fellowship:

• Professional Recognition Pathway (PRP)
• Learning and Teaching in Higher Education (LTHE)
• Academic Professional Programme (APP)
