Collaborate

"Bringing together staff, students and employers to create employability focused assessments enhanced by technology"

Timescale December 2011 - August 2014
Staff  Liz Dunne, Richard Osborne, Stuart Redhead

Collaborate is a University wide project which addresses our strategic ambitions to ensure our graduates are well equipped and work-prepared for their future role in a global economy. Recognizing that assessment is the primary driver for learning we have made it a priority to link our assessment and feedback strategies with employability targets.

We also recognize that no one team of academics can achieve this alone. The project aims to support collaboration between staff, students (acting as academic change agents), employers, other professional bodies and overseas institutions which have similar aspirations.

The Collaborate Project Blog explains the project in more detail, and is regularly updated with current progress.
