Annual Student Conference
Around June each year, the project hosts a conference enabling students to present their findings to a wider audience.
The conference is attended by senior staff, representatives from the National Union of Students (NUS) and Students' Guild, the Quality Assurance Agency for Higher Education (QAA), as well as external visitors.
Student Conference 2011-12
Students as Change Agents has continued to grow and develop. In 2012 the conference ran with parallel sessions for the first time since its conception. Joe Pearce, Business Support Manager, at the Innovation Centre and Darren Westlake, Chief Executive Officer and Co-founder of crowdcube one of the top 20 start-up companies of 2011 based in the Innovation Centre delivered the opening keynote.

Student Conference 2010-11
Along with students’ presentations the conference looked at how the concept of Students as Change Agents could be widely embedded and sustainably carried forwards within the University.
Janice Kay gave a talk about “Looking to the future”, and staff from within different colleges looked at “Taking the agenda forward: different models”. The Students' Guild came and presented on "Don't complain, change: the impact of Change Agents Projects on SSLCs". Discussion activities were also held by Liz Dunne, Sue Burkill and Simon Wright on “Selling the Concept” and “Make or break: The Challenges of Growth”.

Student Conference 2009-10
The Students as Change Agents 2010 Conference began with a introductory talk by Derfel Owen from the QAA on 'Learning from and understanding students'. The Conference was attended by students, staff, student Guild representatives and external visitors. Students presented their project findings and recommendations, which was then followed with discussions about the role of student engagement and where the Change Agents scheme will be going in the future.

This projects do not end here. The findings of the projects will be implemented and we will work on feeding what has been implemented back to the student population. Resources are being developed including video recordings of the conference, written and poster reports of findings. Journal articles are being submitted and we will present the project at conferences. These are but some of our next steps.
