*New* - Maternity/Paternity/Adoption Leave for University of Exeter funded studentships
From the academic year 2012/13 all University of Exeter funded studentships will be harmonised in line with the RCUK guidance on maternity/paternity/adoption leave. This applies to all students from the 2012/13 academic year, including those who commenced their programme of study prior to the 2012/13 academic year.
All students in receipt of University of Exeter studentship funding will be entitled to 6 months of maternity/adoption leave on full stipend. For all students maternity/paternity/adoption leave is governed by the procedures set out in the Statement of Procedures: Periods of Registration and Changes to Registration Status for Graduate Research Students - section 4, Interruption of Studies.
Colleges must ensure that budgets for funding studentships make appropriate provision for any costs arising in this regard.
