Collaborative Provision
The Faculty Office oversees the education of students in a number of partner institutions which are mainly located in the South West of England and are concerned with taught programmes of study. The University is also engaged in a small number of national and international collaborative arrangements which are largely concerned with doctoral programmes of study. It is the responsibility of the Faculty Office to ensure that the quality and standards of the degrees awarded through our partners are of the highest standard, so that students, employers and other stake-holders can have faith in the value of their award.
Taught Programmes of Study
The University collaborates with a number of Colleges regionally in the delivery of taught programmes of study leading to an award of the University of Exeter. All our partners are institutions which exhibit the high quality of education that is typical of the University of Exeter.
Research Programmes of Study
The University of Exeter has established a number of Doctoral Training Centres or Partnerships in collaboration with other Universities in the United Kingdom, which receive funding from a Research Council for the delivery of doctoral programmes of study. The majority of these programmes lead to an award of the University of Exeter.
The DTCs or DTPs aim to provide the highest quality of advanced researcher training as well as to promote collaboration and provision for joint supervision for students from across centres of excellence in partner institutions.
