Inter Campus Loans

We offer a service where items can be transferred between our campuses for you to collect at the most convenient one for you.

To have items from any other campus library in Exeter sent to your particular campus library then use the 'Pick Up Anywhere' service.

Simply make a reservation for an item as normal and just select your desired pickup location to have it sent there for you to collect.

University of Exeter Medical School (UEMS) Staff and Students can request items from Exeter Health Library (NHS) to be collected at the Forum Library or St Luke's Library.  Simply place a reservation on a 'Health Library' item on the catalogue as normal and then select the desired pick up location. 

Similarly, you can also request for books from one of the University of Exeter site libraries to be collected from Exeter Health Library.

Non-UEMS students and staff can request items from the Exeter Health Library (NHS) by emailing the Exeter ILL team at However, please be aware that these loans will be at the discretion of Health Library staff.

Penryn campus staff / students may request some Streatham and St Luke's library material to be sent to the Penryn campus library.  You can also ask for a chapter or journal article to be scanned and emailed to you.   Find out more on their library website here.

Streatham and St Lukes campus staff / students may request some Penryn library material to be sent to the Forum Library.  Material will not be recalled if out on loan at Penryn.

  • Find item on Library catalogue
  • Click on “View record details on Penryn Campus Library catalogue” – this will connect to the Voyager catalogue for Penryn
  • Click on the link on the right hand side “Request for Streatham user”
  • Log in using your IT username and password
  • At the bottom of the page giving details of the book, press the “Submit Request” button.
  • You should then receive a message and an email to say your request has been successful
  • If you receive a message on the screen to say that it is not possible to borrow the item then please check you have not requested a reference book, DVD or journal as these are not borrowable from Penryn.
  • Once the book has arrived here you will receive an email and you can come into the library and collect it

Certain material (e.g. DVD, VHS, High Demand or other) cannot be requested.  You will be informed by email if this is the case.
