Returning Items
Please return books in person, or by post, by the due date.
Books are still subject to recall at any time during your loan. If you receive a recall notice please return the item as soon as possible as you will be liable to fines if you do not. Overdue fines (20p per book per day) and recall fines (£1.00 per book per day) will accrue until the library receives the book. Outstanding fines will prevent use of the service.
Users returning books by post close to their due date may wish to renew them first to avoid fines due to postage delays.
The requester is responsible for the cost for return postage for books. Photocopies do not need to be returned.
We suggest that you obtain a proof of postage slip from your post office when you send the book back in case of any lost items.
