Requesting Books
To request books first check the catalogue to make sure we do have the items in stock. N.B. Some of our books are available online and these will NOT be sent as postal items. You can access these via the catalogue.
To make the request complete a Postal Loans Book Request Form
Send it via e-mail to postalloans@exeter.ac.uk. The £2.50 charge will then be added to your library account. If charges on your Library account exceed £10.00, you will need to reduce these to below £10 before using any of our servcies.
Alternatively print it out and post with a cheque for £2.50 made payable to the University of Exeter to Postal Loans Service, Forum Library, Stocker Road, Exeter, Devon, EX4 4PT.
N.B.
- Please use a separate request form for each item and provide as many details as possible.
- You can request books up to your borrowing limit – see Borrowing Regulations.
- Please allow 10 working days turnaround time, including posting time. If you have not received material after this period, please contact the Postal Loan Servcies (PLS).
- If a book has to be recalled for you this will take longer. You will be notified by e-mail when it becomes available and it will be sent without further notification.
