Following the Data: Data

Operating concurrently with the Follow the Data: The Human Factor element we will also be conducting an assessment of current data management across the university. Using the Digital Curation Centre's  Data Asset Framework methodology we hope to gauge the current state of affairs and how the project can make recommendations for the improvement of research data management across the University.

Our online survey has now been closed but the follow up interviews are continuing. A report on the survey findings can be found here.

We have also acquired a lot of unexpected information from the interviews with PhD students and will be building on this when we start to analyse the results of the survey and interviews. Some personal experiences can be found on our website.
