Open Research Exeter (ORE) is the University of Exeter's repository for all types of research, including research papers, research data and theses. Research in ORE can be viewed and downloaded freely by anyone, anywhere: researchers, students, industry, business and the wider public.

The University of Exeter Library's archival collections are of regional and national significance, particularly strong in their representation of South West cultural heritage. Poets, novelists, historians, scientists, photographers, and politicians all figure, with particular collection strengths in the field of literature and cinema, history, and Arabic and Islamic studies.

You can explore the Exeter Cathedral Library Collection.   This site enables you to search the catalogues of both the Library and the Archives.

The two best known items in the collections are the Exeter Book of Anglo-Saxon poetry (MS 3501) and the Exon Domesday manuscript (MS 3500). There are, however, many thousands of other items in the collections, which span the 10th century to the present day.
