Library Quality Survey results

Over 1600 students and staff responded to our Library Quality Survey last November. This is what you told us you wanted, as well as some of the things we're doing about it.

Changes to Ready Text

In response to customer feedback, and with the full backing of the Guild, we have implemented (on a pilot basis) some changes to the loan rules and fine levels for Ready Text, Temporary Reserve and DVD collections.

Correction - Law Library Open Sunday 18th December

Good news - we have been informed that the essential maintenance work due to be carried out in the Amory Building on Sunday 18th December will be completed by 14:00.  The Law Library will therefore now be opened as scheduled (14:00-18:00). Our aplogies for the confusion and any inconvenience it may have caused. 

Law Library closed on Sunday 18 December

Due to essential electrical maintenance work, Amory Building will be closed for the whole of Sunday 18th December.  Unfortunately this means that we will be unable to open Law Library as advertised.

Crane removal rescheduled for Wednesday 21st September

The Main Library will now be open on Monday 19th September but, dependent on weather conditions, will now be closed on Wednesday 21st September for the safe removal of the McAlpine crane.

Temporary service changes - Main Library

There have been some minor service changes in the Main Library due to internal water damage in early August.

Ready Text/Temporary Reserve - loan periods extended over vacation

Loan periods will be increased from 5 hours to 72 hours throughout the summer vacation.
