Enhancing Library Spaces
Forum Library
The Forum Library has been fully refurbished and now offers a 25% increase in shelving capacity with space for growth well into the 21st Century.
There is now three times as much silent and group study space as previously plus four bookable AccessAbility spaces, on top of this is the ability to open up additional seasonal study space in the run up to exams.
Over the three levels there is a 100% increase in PC provision, WiFi throughout the building and access to self-service scanning, printing and photocopying facilities.
It now opens out into the new Forum Street with its Student Service Centre, shops and other facilities but remains a 24/7 service for our users.
The Sanctuary
This is a brand new bright, colourful modern flexible space for students all year round with 180 study seats. Find out more here.
Research Commons and St Luke's Library
Both these libraries were refurbished prior to the Forum project work and offer excellent facilities with regards to space, content and services.
