The St Luke's Library is based in the Haighton building which can be found using the St Luke's Campus map

Facilities

  • Over 180 study seats; 36 of these are in the 24/7 study room, Photocopy, scan and print facilities
  • 36 computers, of which the majority are in the 24/7 computer room
  • Lukes Library Floor Plan 

Collections

  • Books, journals and resources cover a range of subjects with specialisms in Education, Medicine and Sports Science
  • School-Based Work (teaching practice) contains materials directly relevant to school age children.

The computer room and 24/7 study room are accessible overnight, you will need to swipe in with your UniCard.

The Devon and Exeter Institution Library is an independent subscription library founded in 1813 and housed in a Grade 2* listed building in Cathedral Close in the centre of Exeter. 

Full membership is available free to University of Exeter staff and postgraduate students - please apply in person at the Devon and Exeter Institution. University of Exeter undergraduates may use the library for reference only, on production of a valid University of Exeter ID card. 

The library collections, c.34,000 volumes (included in the University Library's online catalogue), are particularly strong in South West studies, nineteenth century periodicals, biography, history and topography. 

The library is open from 9.30am to 5.00pm Monday to Friday.

Cornwall libraries

The Library Service based in Cornwall serves a dual role of supporting students from Falmouth University (incorporating Dartington College of Arts) and University of Exeter, Cornwall Campus.

  • Supports students of both Falmouth University and the University of Exeter.
  • A wide range of resources on earth sciences, geography and those associated with the original  Institute of Cornish Studies and Camborne School of Mines. 
  • Subjects include: biosciences, contemporary crafts, Cornish and Celtic studies, design, engineering, history, geography, journalism, law, literature, media, photography and politics.
