Free Office Professional Plus for Students
As part of the Next Generation Portal project, we are pleased to announce that all students can download Microsoft Office Professional software for free to their PC or Mac as part of the Universitys Student Advantage license agreement.
This will allow students to have access to the full range of Office 2013 applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and OneNote (this will be Office 2011 for Mac)
Students will be able to download the software on up to 5 machines.
To access this free software, students will need to log into their O365 account using their email and password, and go to Settings (the cog icon)>Office 365 Settings>Software.
You can also go to this landing page - http://as.exeter.ac.uk/it/equipmentandsoftware/software/office/. Follow the Installation Instruction guide under the FAQ's section.
Alternatively, a direct link can be found on the University website under IT Equipment and Software>Software Provision.
For technical support, students should contact Microsoft. Select your product (either Office 2013 or Office 2011 for Mac) and then the relevant topic. The Exeter IT Help Desk can also offer some basic support.
