Microsoft Office

Microsoft Office is a suite of inter-related desktop applications. Most University staff PCs currently have Microsoft Office Professional 2013 installed. This suite includes:

  •  Word
  •  Excel
  •  PowerPoint
  •  Access
  •  InfoPath
  •  OneNote
  •  Outlook
  •  Skype for Business

Availability

University-owned Computers:

Microsoft Office 2013 is currently installed as part of the base-image on all new University owned PCs and laptops.

If you don't have it installed, Office 2013 is available for you to install yourself via the Software Center.

You must NOT download the free Office Pro Plus to your University device.

Tablets, Mobiles and Personal Computers

Microsoft Office 2016 Pro Plus for PC and Mac OS is available free to Staff, Students and Associates to download to your personal device(s), as long as you have an active '@exeter.ac.uk' email account.   You will need this to activate your software.

Each subscription licence allows you to run Office on up to five machines including PC, MAC, iOS and Android.
