Slowdown in Xerox Printing

Exeter IT are aware that some staff may be seeing a delay in requesting their print job, and the job being ready to be released from your Xerox printer. 

We are investigating these issues with Xerox. It is not affecting all staff. We have temporarily reduced printer retention time to 24 hours in an effort to alleviate these issues. 

The following workarounds are available:

  • 1) Use the print to email guide - click here
  • 2) Use the webpage to upload your print document:
  •  - Please go to https://print.exeter.ac.uk and sign in 
  •  - On the left hand menu, select 'WebPrint'
  •  - Select 'Submit a Job'
  •  - Select 'vmxmobq01\MOBILE_FOLLOWME (virtual)'
  •  - Click on '2. PrintOptions and Account Selection >>'
  •  - Click on 'Upload Documents >>'
  •  - Click on 'Upload from Computer'
  •  - Browse to the file you wish to print
  •  - Click on 'Upload & Complete >>' 

VPN Service performance issues

We are aware that there are some performance issues relating to our VPN service.

Engineers are working to resolve this issue.
