IT equipment
Exeter campuses:
Academic Services provides support and advice for the purchase and use of recommended IT hardware. Equipment maintenance can be arranged for a range of IT equipment after the warranty expires. Advice on the disposal of unwanted equipment is also provided.

Software
The Academic Services software office supplies software to University of Exeter staff and students at all campuses. The software office provides:
- a wide range of software to assist the teaching, research and administration of the University
- where possible, site licences or other arrangements to allow software installation on any University-owned PC
- where licence regulations allow, software for personal use by University staff and/or students
- software purchasing facilities for University Colleges and Professional Services, including special purchases
- an annual review of site licences to check that the University is getting the best value for money
- software compliance advice to ensure that the University is meeting its legal obligations
