Introduction
Echo 360 is a Lecture Capture service which allows sessions to be recorded and made available on the Exeter Learning Environment (ELE). The system will capture PC content (eg Powerpoint) with an audio and video recording of the speaker. Alternatively to the PC, data from a visualiser or laptop input may also be captured.
After the lecture is finished, the Echo360 system will automatically process the captured data and produce a recording. This may be viewed on-line as a ‘streamed’ multimedia event or (in some cases) downloaded as a podcast that can be played back on mobile devices such as an mp3 player.
