Admissions and Registry Services
The division of Admissions and Registry Services covers the entire student life-cycle from the point of first enquiry through to graduation. Along the way, we deal with the organisation of open days and other recruitment events, consider students’ applications for admission, register them, organise their exams and ensure they have a fantastic experience at their graduation ceremony.
The division is also responsible for meeting our statutory responsibilities to a number of external bodies – such as the Office for Fair Access (in pursuit of widening participation and fair access), the Higher Education Statistics Agency (for the return of thousands of student records) and Research Councils (as part of our PGR administration process).
Admissions and Registry Services incorporates the following teams:
- Student Recruitment and Widening Participation
- Admissions
- Student records
- Postgraduate Administration
- Examinations
- Graduation
