| CRIATE (Course Related Information AT Exeter) (previously iPaMS) | This project aims to build upon previous work by the JISC funded iPaMS (Integrated Programme and Module System) project, which developed a generic toolkit to allow the production, management and publication of programme and module information. CRIATE will build upon the toolkit to develop a production course information database, based on the iPaMS schema, and gather course information for all courses at the University of Exeter from a variety of sources. For further information contact Sam Daly (S.Daly@exeter.ac.uk). |
| MyTimetable | The MyTimetable project aims to produce a new web representation of a personal timetable to replace the current grid output. This will be the first such installation at a UK university. For further information contact Ian Tilsed (I.J.Tilsed@exeter.ac.uk). |
| Server Data Backup Service Replacement | The project aims to increase the capacity and throughput of the University Backup Service. It is a technology update to an existing service. For further information contact Steve Grange (S.L.Grange@exeter.ac.uk). |
| Symplectic: Research Publications Management System | The delivery of a web-based research publications system for the Research Office, complete with comparative analysis modules and integration with the institutional repository. For further information contact Ian Tilsed (I.J.Tilsed@exeter.ac.uk). |
| Unified Access Control | To deliver a flexible, granular network access control system for user-connected devices (PCs, laptops, mobile devices) to support and protect the core network infrastructure. Project currently on hold. Following a review of the UAC proof of concept and the risks and benefits of continuing with the UAC deployment across campus as planned, it has been decided to put the rollout on hold pending a review of other technical solutions and a review of processes within Exeter IT. If you have any queries about this please contact Ruth O’Neale (Ruth.O'Neale@exeter.ac.uk). |
| CS1K Campus IP Telephony Upgrade and Maintenance | The CS1K Upgrade project will effectively upgrade the universities production IP telephony system onto a maintained level of software and support. For further information please contact Roger Snelling (Roger.Snelling@exeter.ac.uk). |
| Upgrade ELE 1.9 to VLE v2.2 (Moodle 2) | The current version of ELE is v1.9 which is being de-supported from summer 2012. This project will deliver the upgrading/migration of ELE to the new version Moodle 2 (to v2.2). For further information please contact Ruth O'Neale (Ruth.O'Neale@exeter.ac.uk). |
